S&P 500 - September 12, 2010 - Sunday Night

Just checked the futures and saw a gap up in the session that started this evening



A gap in the Sunday evening session is not a very common thing.

I am quite sure how to interpret it, but a failure of the gap will not be a very happy thing for the bulls.

Barring that, this may be a very long and excruciating night for those who are caught short and exposed

Notice that the chart is Sep ES, many have already rolled to December ES, and that is cash - 4 or so at this time, but I thought I would show Sep chart because it is closer to what cash would be if market were open

if things hold like this, I may be able to raise my levels -- we'll see
